The room setup was odd with a funny smell upon arrival, stained carpet, poor WiFi, and uncomfortable sofa bed, and rough sheets. Despite these issues, the room was spacious and comfortable with the best complimentary breakfast. We expected a more modern room for the price paid.

However, the room was spacious, quiet, and relatively clean for its historic charm, but we expected a more updated room for the price paid. The only downside was the outdated tub and the need for extra payment for WiFi access.

My stay at this hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were very spacious, had a nice view overlooking the park, and were conveniently close to the downtown area. However, the initial room I was assigned was too small, but after being moved to the older part of the hotel, it was a much better fit for me. The historic Kress building where the hotel is located added a unique charm to the room.

The hotel is ideally located downtown, perfect for exploring the area, with comfortable and clean rooms. The service was exceptional, and the dining options offered a nice variety. However, some areas are showing wear and tear, and the location could get crowded during peak times.

Upon arrival, I noticed a funny smell in the room which wasn't very pleasant. The stained carpet and poor WiFi connection were a letdown. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable, and the sheets felt rough. The outdated tub didn’t meet our expectations for the price we paid, especially for a more up-to-date room with functional WiFi without extra charges. On the upside, the complimentary breakfast was the best part of our stay.
